Rigorous Thinking And God
Free will is the biggest argument for religious diversity. Everyone has a right to peacefully practice the religion of their choice. Up to democracy there is no compromise. I am for relentless nonviolent militancy to that universal goal. Up to freedom of religion is no compromise. Up to freedom of speech is no compromise. The struggle has to be global and the struggle has to be unceasing. For no one is free until everyone is free. And ordinary people everywhere can directly contribute. The world is global and getting more so every day.
God has the power to but does not freeze human bodies just as they are about to indulge in sin. It's called divine respect for free will.
God is more mysterious than the universe, and you have not figured out the universe. Figuring out God is not an available option. Have humility. You don't figure out God. He reveals.
With that humility you should approach religions. Maybe you don't know. If God is always just one prayer away to every human being everywhere, what's going on?
There are over 40,000 Christian denominations and counting. Clearly laid out words can have so many varied interpretations. There is also a natural tendency to diversity. That is how cultures form.
But then The Truth is The Truth. And it has to be presented.
There is but one God, there always has been but one God, the one true Living God. That truth can not exist with claims that there are many gods. Or that there is no God. Or that there is one God, but not the God you are talking about. That one God is a sphere, or a force field without form. That god is not in human form.
Such can be topics of peaceful inquiry.
