Yoga is unique in the history of world wisdoms. It might be the only thing capable of touching the body, the mind, the heart, and the soul at once, done right. It touches the body the proper way. It focuses on the joints, the idea being if you take good care of your joints, the muscles will take care of themselves. The focus on air and breathing is key, for air is both physical and spiritual, and air is way more important than water which is more important than food.

But done right. If you reduce yoga into a stretching session, some of the bends and twists are so challenging, instead of concentrating and calming your mind, you might end up with major stress.

Good yoga gurus are worth their weight in gold.
