Working parents and child care challenges is a big ordeal in today’s world. Issues with child care today is on the rise, but there is a solution!
Issues With Child Care Today
The issue with child care today is a recurring and scary ordeal for working parents. Just last week, I was eagerly searching for a suitable daycare to place my 1 year old son in, and boy, was it a challenge.
All of the exceptional child care facilities were filled to the max. To make matters worse, they would have a waitlist with over 100 kid names. So if I got on the list, I would be lucky number 101 (rolls eyes), and not to mention, I needed this little rugrat out of my home now!! This left me looking through the remaining percentage of child care with very low ratings and home day cares. Most of their reviews were left by angry parents about the abuse, starvation, or mistreatment of their kids. Very frightening! Personally, I am not a fan of home daycare providers unless I know them personally. You never know what is actually going on in the privacy of some one’s home.
Solution to Child Care Problems
In my desperate time of need, my goal was to find child care. While my ultimate goal was to keep my child safe so that I could get back to work with a clear head. I instantly began thinking about what I was going to do about this situation. In fact, I started feeling like it was out of my control. Then a light switched went off in my head, and I had a great idea. I had decided to take a small section in our home and use it as a safe play area.
So I got on Amazon and started adding what I needed to my cart. The items were scheduled to arrive in 1-2 days. The fast shipping was a life saver .

Make child care challenges history. I know this may not have been the outcome that some of you may have wanted because you may be in a desperate time and need those kids out of your hair now!! But trust me, it will work! Especially if you are a hard-working parent, or a "house wife or husband” that is seeking some relief with the children, then this is a great solution if you are facing child care issues.
We are responsible for our “mini-me’s” and it would break our hearts if we placed them in a terrible situation. With this result, I was able to keep an eye and ear on my kid through the nanny cam that I had purchased. By the way, the audio was amazing. What better place is safer than keeping your little one at home with you. Make a happy place for them to go! They’ll enjoy it while the parents can get personal time or work completed.
Alternative Solution
Some parents may not be able to build a safe play area in their home due to lack of space or other issues. All hope is not gone though. Another alternative would be to contact a traveling nanny in your city or area. A traveling nanny can come to you, and watch your child/children in the safety of your own home. This will make date nights for the parents a little easier. Even if the parent chose to spend their time getting some business taken care of, you can pay for a sitter to come to you.
