Transition from Parex APP to EVM
Dear Parex Users,
As of May 2024, Parex (PRX) staking transactions have been carried out through EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine)-based wallets. This strategic transition was designed to support developments in the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem and to provide our users with a more flexible, secure, and scalable infrastructure. We have completed the necessary work to facilitate the transfer of PRX staking transactions from the mobile app to EVM wallets.
Option to Transfer Stake to EVM Wallets
Users who have staked through the Parex app can now transfer their stakes to any EVM-based wallet. This transfer is optional and not mandatory. Even though the Parex Mobile App will be discontinued, users will be able to securely continue their operations through the web interface.
Parex Mobile App Shutdown Date
The Parex Mobile App will be discontinued on December 31, 2024. From that date onwards, all staking transactions and coin/token transfers will be conducted via the Parex website (pro.parex.market). EVM-based staking will offer an optimized structure aimed at increasing security and ensuring network sustainability.
Technical Steps for Stake Transfer
1. Website Access: Visit the pro.parex.market website and log in using your Parex app credentials. This interface is user-friendly and equipped with advanced security protocols.
2. Navigate to the EVM Section: Go to the “EVM” section from the top menu and transfer your existing stakes to a new EVM-based wallet.
3. Wallet Address Verification: Carefully enter the wallet address where you want to transfer your stakes in the “EVM Wallet Address” section. This step is crucial due to the irreversible nature of blockchain transactions.
4. Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Enter the Google 2FA code associated with your Parex app in the “Google Authenticator Code” section to verify the transaction. This ensures the security of your operation.
5. Final Check and Confirmation: After checking the accuracy of all the information, press the “Verify” button to confirm the transaction.
The transfer process may vary depending on the blockchain confirmation time, but we would like to assure you that there will be no interruption in your staking rewards during this period. The Parex team has meticulously planned this transition to optimize user experience and enhance security.
