Importance of moral education in Islam

Moral education is among the fundamentals of Islam. The first teacher in Islamic philosophy is Allah himself. So the angels said: ‘O Allah, You are holy! We have no knowledge except what you have taught; Surely You are wise and cunning.’ (Surah Baqarah, verse: 32).
His first instruction to our beloved Prophet (PBUH) was: ‘Recite in the name of your Lord, Who created, created from human ‘alaq’. Read, highly honored is your Lord, who teaches through writing. Taught the people what they did not know. Merciful Rahman (Allah)! He created man to teach the Qur’an; He taught him letters.’ (Surah Rahman, verses 1–4).

Importance of religion and moral education
The purpose of education is to bring about positive change and improvement in behavior (in practice or action). Issues directly related to moral education are good governance, justice, human rights, anti-corruption, economic development, growth, maintaining peace and order, etc. Education is the imparting of information or imparting knowledge in a specific manner to achieve desired positive change and development in behavior.
