Continuing our visit, we walked along Via Giuseppe Libertini, known as “La piu’ bella via di Lecce” — the most beautiful street in Lecce. We are enveloped by the elegance of its ornate facades and charming shops
At the Basilica of Santa Croce, we witness the excellence of local stonework, with intricate details carved from Leccese limestone. This church is a Baroque treasure and an unmissable landmark.
Our tour takes us to Lecce’s Roman Amphitheater, a vivid testament to the city’s Roman heritage, where history comes to life amidst the ancient ruins.
