Hey gamers, here’s a way to monetize your time playing video games. This will be a great side hustle for you.

I will share a method to get paid for playing video games in this article.

If you do this as a hobby, read this to know how you can earn extra bucks while selling your services or products.

A few years back, I played clash of clans for the whole day. That was my priority, and I woke up every day thinking about the game. I was simply addicted. I know it’s not good to play video games day and night; however, I couldn’t help playing COC.

I’m sure most of you do this in your leisure time.

This article is for people who already play games and want to make some money while having fun. I don’t recommend you to start playing video games just to earn money if you’re not doing it yet.

As I’m building a few income streams online, I always search for new side hustle ideas to work on. One day, I stumbled upon a platform where we can earn money by selling our game accounts or related services. I’ll share the details shortly.

It required ID verification to start selling. I couldn’t verify my ID then since I only had my government-issued ID, which was not in English. I now have a passport; however, I’ve stopped playing games and don’t think of starting it again. If I start it again, I know I’ll spend a lot of time playing that and forget my life goals.

That’s why I don’t recommend starting this if you‘re not already playing any games yet.

You can create a seller account and start selling your services or products after verifying your ID. If you’re under 18, you need to obtain permission from your parents or legal guardian.

• Accounts — sell game accounts that you’ve already created. Other gamers like to buy higher-level/upgraded accounts.
• Coaching — sell your expertise. There are a lot of people out there who are willing to pay for coaching sessions to improve their gaming skills. This is a great opportunity for you as a pro gamer.
• Items — sell items like gold, clans, and clan game points used in the game. These items vary according to the game you play.
• GamePal —sell boosting services for the game you’re playing. If you’re good at specific missions/tasks in the game, you can offer your service to play that part.

Also, there are several other categories than the ones mentioned above. You can go through those and decide what you can sell.

As a new seller, you can create up to 20 listings. You must complete at least 3 orders to create more than 20.

So, I suggest you go through other similar listings you’re going to work on and find out low-competitive services and products at first. You can find the number of services listed under each service or product.

After you decide what services to offer, start listing. You can edit those later on if you want. So don’t spend years deciding what to create first.

If the game you’re playing is not listed on their website, you can request to add that by sending a ticket. Maybe they’ll consider your request.

Before you start selling, make sure to go through their rules and regulations. So you have a better idea of what to avoid.

You will get paid when a buyer confirms that you have completed the work.

For every successful order, g2g charges a fee. Those commission fees vary according to the category and the seller ranking.

You can check out the platform yourself and decide whether it’s good for you.

This is a great way to make extra money from a hobby like playing video games. You can try it and see how it goes.
