The 5Ps Of Writing On Medium
The Second One Is My Favorite
Writing on medium may sound very easy. But, it is not that easy.
Of course, if you want to write one or two articles. it is easy.
But, if you want to be here for a long run. it is not that easy.
And, I am telling this based on my experience of writing 85 articles on medium. One article each day for the past 85 days.
Today, I want to share with you my 5Ps that one must have for writing on medium.
So, what are they?
Let’s start.
Patience : If you are dreaming of overnight success on medium, then let me tell you. It’s going to remain a dream only. You need to have a lot of patience if you want to play a long game on medium. Only patience may not help either. Each of the 5Ps that we are going to take a look today are most important. And, that’s where now it’s time to understand our second P.
Positive Attitude : Your attitude plays a key role in crafting your success. While writing on medium, there are going to be tough times. No reads, no claps, no comments, no views, no followers and so on. There are going to be setbacks. But, in all of these, you need to have a positive attitude. Winners are those who focus on the goals. and not focus on the obstacles that come on the way of achieving goals. Yes, positive attitude is a must if you want to enjoy the writing game on medium.
Persistence : when you write on medium, consistency is the key. To make it more interesting. take up your writing challenge such as 10 days, 30 days, 100 days writing challenge. Define your writing schedule. Find your magic hour for writing. And, stick to your writing schedule. No matter what, try to follow your writing schedule. There will be days when you don’t feel like writing, but don’t give up. That’s persistence. Keep writing.
Perseverance : While writing on medium, all days are not going to be the same. There are going to be days when you expect your article to perform well, but it may get only a handful of views. Things might not happen as you may have wished. There may be setbacks. You may even feel that you are not seeing the results of your writing. You may even feel that what’s the point of writing. You may even think about giving up. But, don’t give up. Keep writing. That’s perseverance. And, that’s what will take you to our last point.
Progress : With each word penned, with sentences crafted, with each article completed. You are marching towards your goal. That’s progress. And, this progress will fuel your passion of writing. With each article written, You may not be seeing the result. but you may see the progress for sure. And, that will be a great motivation to keep you going. One day, your progress will lead you to success. Keep writing.
