#103 Word of encouragement: How Firm a Foundation

1 Peter 2:4 “As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious”

Hi beloved FC,

Jesus is the indestructible cornerstone to build your life on. So why do we replace him with things that leave us so vulnerable to falling apart? Going to an Ivy League. Getting married. Having children. Becoming rich, popular, respected. These are all blessings that people often try to turn into cornerstones to build a significant, secure life on. A life that quickly falls apart when such terribly fragile and unreliable stones become either unrealized, threatened, or taken away. Jesus is the only stone strong enough to build your life on. Only His love has been proven chosen and precious enough never to leave nor forsake you even in the worst possible storm. My fellow walking miracles, let’s keep building our life on Him. Read your Bibles. Take Communion. Look to the Cross. Praise Him.
