- Out of 7 Medium writers I just randomly sampled, 5 of them had bios writen in the first person. This is an admittedly small sample but one that suggests you may be attacking a straw person here.
- Your examples all include a lot more characters than Medium allows (160) in profile bios. The need to for brevity necessitates some shortcuts, thus “I write about Marketing” becomes “Marketer.”
