He is vengeance. He is the night. He. Is. Batman. That's right folks, beloved actor Kevin Conroy known for introducing a whole new generation to the world of Batman in the early 90s with DC Comics’ Animated series “Batman The Animated Series”, has shocked fans once again.
Previous to the actor’s unfortunate passing back in November of 2022 at the age of 66, Kevin had recorded a few lines of dialogue for the Warner Brothers video game “ MultiVurses” which was a game that pit multiple Warner owned franchise characters in a fighting style game. This game went through many launch delays when finally releasing in 2023, 1 year after Kevin Conroy sadly passed away. This was thought to be his final performance as Batman. that is until July of 2024.
Since 2013, Warner Brothers and DC Comics have been releasing straight to video animated movies which all take place in one giant continuity, akin to 2008’s Marvel Cinematic Universe, in July 2024, the newest installment of this DC Animated Movie Universe title “Justice League Crisis On Infinite Earths Part Three” where Kevin Conroy heroically gives us one farewell to Batman as he sacrifices himself protecting Gotham while his earth is on the verge of non existing.
We love you Kevin and you will always be Batman.
