PathDAO is spearheading this initiative (Path Finance) to empower gamers with uncollateralized microloans, which would be closely linked to gamers’ performance. We understand that many guilds have a tight knitted community of scholars and managers who are active in the play-to-earn ecosystem — therefore we at PathDAO are here to support and empower your communities with easy, hassle-free access to financing.
A significant number of gamers — in particular young gamers in the developing world — are unbanked or otherwise have limited effective access to financial services providers. By utilising real-time data — including earnings records, gaming performance, and other aspects of a gamer’s profile — Path Finance is able to generate effective and appropriate credit scores, in order to provide our gamers, scholars, and users effective access to microfinancing and other non-conventional financial solutions.
What do we offer?
- An uncollateralized and unsecured microloan up to a maximum of 500USD at an interest rate of between 2%-20% per loan.
- Tenure ranges from 1 week to 8 weeks
Guild onboarding process
Step 1: Share Path Finance microloan announcement to your community. Only 10 referral codes will be given to each guild.
Step 2: Give the 10 referral codes to your top performing gamers who wish to apply for a loan.
Step 3: Each borrower will receive 3 referral codes after they finish paying off their loan. The borrowers with referral codes can invite new borrowers from the community.
Approval process
We will review the documents submitted by the applicants and rate their credit profile accordingly. The final approval amount and tenure are subject to their credit profile.
Borrower benefits
Borrowers with timely repayments will improve their credit scores. Higher credit scores will in turn allow borrowers to have higher credit limits and lower interest rates in their future loans.
Borrowers with timely repayments will receive 3 referral codes. The referrers will be rewarded with 50USD worth of vested $PATH tokens when the referred loan is paid completely.
Terms and Conditions
PathDAO reserves the full rights in approving all loans, disbursing of loans and retracting the referral codes from the guild. Without the referral code, the member has to reach a minimum of Level 3 in PathDAO’s GameStreet account in order to qualify for loan application.
