An excellent blog that describes the need for some form of carbon tax as one way of tackling climate change and aiming for sustainability. It also indicates what the revenue could be used for in different regions around the world. However i dont share your optimism when you say

“ (The Paris agreement) signals the world is ready to take the actions we need to keep global warming below 1.5 degrees Celsius. “

Rather I would say it tells the world that we should be aiming to keep GW below 1.5C but we have realistically passed that threshold but we may have a chance of keeping below 2C if we go above and beyond the targets that countries are considering. Lets hope we can implement carbon pricing around the world sooner rather than later.
