Summary of the tweet-chat held on Thursday from 4pm to 6pm on the topic:

Practical business and profitable investment opportunities in the North East for individuals and SME’s.

Mr okeke Celestine was introduce @Neieffellow, he went ahead to say that youth should first have the understanding that business enterprises must be set up to meet and address need within a given space. Youth in the North East need to take the challenge of entrepreneurship more seriously and commit themselves to solving the socio-economic needs of the region. The youth in and around the region need to create more small business with a view of using same to address the challenge of economic growth and job creation in the region.
North East is known for food crops such as sorghum, millet and lot more, embarking on agribusiness enterprise will remain the best bet for youth in the North East region. Although, it is impossible to start small businesses without capital, it is also possible to mobilize available resources and use same to start small businesses, especially in the agricultural sector. Youth can work with development partners to do a mapping of available resources that can support the establishment of small agribusiness enterprises.
Mr Okeke Celestine went further to say that there should not be any restriction on any gender, especially for women. Women are at the fore front of small holder agriculture in Nigeria and will continue to be and they should be encouraged to start small businesses which will bring growth and development to the region and to the nation at large.
