wish Shark Tank India should have telecasted few years ago. ( since shark tank USA started in 2009)
Indian Television viewers were already tired of the same senseless Daily soaps. The reality shows like Dance India Dance, Indian Idol , India’s Got Talent & all have been overtly melodramatic and repetitive.
Shark Tank India is like a breath of fresh air since it combines both Entrepreneurship & entertainment. “Giving a pitch, finding a cofounder, building a product, diluting equity “: these phrases have become new household phrases to talk over coffee & tea discussion. This entails the aspirations of Today’s youth who have been a little more used to the words like “Entrepreneurship”, “startups “ and all, thanks to social media.
Coming to the Show: it has been quite good. The judges panel is full with acclaimed people from India’s startup Arena.
The Founder of Lenskart(Piyush bansal)who is very familiar Unicorn startup businessmen, The founder of Boat(Aman Gupta), Shaadi.com(Anupam mittal), Bharat Pe(Ashneer grover), Mama Earth(Gazal). Most of these are self made Millionaires unlike the previous generation Top industry leaders of India. It gives immense hope on the youth who aspires to build a business empire. Personally i wanted to see Ankur Warikoo in place of Namita Thapar Who could have been cherry on the cake.
Coming to my favourite shark co-founder of Bharat pay, Naam toh suna hi hoga,of course! ASHNEER GROVER ,Who gets hated for being straightforward and accurate and for being someone who does not sugarcoat things.
I agree he may sound rude at times.
But, he is someone who can scale your startup and open up opportunities. He means business.“seedhi baat no bakwas” that’s it.
If you’re someone who carry interests in business/entrepreneurship this show is for you.
It’s a great show in my take. I had been out with one friend of mine who asked me to eye the show. And I’ve binged straight 10 episodes.
This show helps you know how investments have been made (Ashneer takes are the best baki Pharma wali to dogali hai)Piyush and anupam Will let you know the marketing strategies and everything,Aman Gupta will entertain you. Ashneer will make you serious regarding your life. Vineeta will make you to respect her how well she treat people. In complete this show is full package and it’s kinda addictive too.New wave has been arose of Startups in India.
