Z-Limits Exposed

Hello Zachary — Here are a few things to consider. Corporations use their “employee donations” to tout their corporate environment. United Way is a favorite. When working for a large corporation, actually L.L.Bean, Human Resources applied heavy pressure for employees to donate. There were campaign signs, notices in the newsletter, culminating in a sit down in HR room, with the donation form pre-set in front of us, and we were asked to fill the form in. Now we don’t know the circumstances of Goldman Sachs, but you should also be aware, once someone starts in a low position in a financial institution, they are encouraged to think of promotions, upward mobility, in short, drink the Republican-esque Kool-Aid. If you want to be paid like them, you had better act like them.

Zach — you’ve never lived in a socialized country. How do I know this? Because I have. You “logical arguments” sound like you’ve grown up in America. How do these Other Countries supply social services and universal health coverage? They’re not bankrupt. Well, drug costs are controlled. Right now, our American system forces nurses to throw away perfectly usable drugs every day. Our waste is unfathomable when compared to other countries. And, you have not viewed Fix It. This film elaborates on the single payor healthcare system and how it would be CHEAPER FOR AMERICA. How can someone as adept at research as yourself pull out HRC’s graduation speech and not know the fundamentals of universal healthcare?

Hillary is pro-fracking, for example. As a woman she learned to survive in the Man’s World by quacking like him. Perhaps by virtue of being a woman she deserves a medal for longevity, but the price she has paid is not acceptable for admission in our current public arena. She literally changed her position on a dozen issues in 2015, aligning herself with positions Bernie has always stood for. This is why we support Bernie. This is why we’ll back President Bernie and demonstrate as needed to change our very lives and futures. Zach — being poor sucks, and that’s what most of us are.
