Blab is dead…long live Blab.
Shaan Puri

Let’s sum up here.

Most live streams sucked. Okay, so thanks for insulting me and millions of other live stream creators on blab and elsewhere.

Two camps of users. For those of us trying to teach, not only did you rip our platform away with zero notice, you didn’t let us download our past streams. You didn’t send an email, didn’t warn ANYONE as far as I can tell. You simply shut down. Many of us had streams scheduled. We had plans that revolved around those streams. We had customers and clients and followers who now have to find another way to reach us. Once we find somewhere else to be, which is not an easy task. I’ve spent much of the past 36 hours trying to find a suitable replacement for blab, and so far, this has been an exercise in frustration at every turn.

And you know what? Even if I was only using blab to hang out with friends, the harm is just as great. Imagine a person whose only positive interaction in a day is hanging out with online friends over blab.

It’s great that you’ve decided to go in a different direction. That’s absolutely your prerogative. However, the way you handled this is abysmal.
