I am a Woman. You are a Trans Woman. And That Distinction Matters.

People have the right to live their lives as they see fit (obviously without doing harm to another). I find this noisy and offensive rant to be opportunistic and cruel, as well as misplaced in the authors scope of who oppresses her and how. Is the 1% really upsetting her ability to make a claim to being or feeling 100% pure, corn-fed female? If so, I’m sorry, I think she has her own insecurities in that area and should work on them.

The state of California yesterday put out notice that no state workers were to travel at the state’s expense to three states that have shown their prejudice and oppression to those in the LGTBQ community. I’m proud to be part of it and hope that others will wake up to the rights of individuals no matter their sexuality, or personhood.
