A new way to get income for some of us, and a normal way of working life for others. Online lessons are widely known from past years. These are becoming more popular in the past decade but after March 2020, the virtual world is certainly becoming stronger. Not only online lessons but an online world of sharing and helping.

We are used to seeing artists sharing their life through social media. But in times like these, many artists aren’t just sharing their perfect lives but they are also trying their best to help the world against the Coronavirus crisis.

These actions include donations, live stream concerts via zoom, Instagram live and also through other social networks. Artists are getting in touch with their fans and helping everyone they can. We even heard of personal donations directly to fans made by Taylor Swift and Arianna Grande, according to Elle magazine.

A fact is, that any kind of help means more than no help at all. It is not important if you don’t have money to share. You can contribute with a bag of beans and you are already doing a lot for that person today. Everyone should add a bit of kindness and share with others. You can share your time and talk to someone who needs a chat right now. Simple as that. Let’s join the cause and help those in this COVID-19 crisis. Same as these 5 Examples of Successful Artists that are helping the fight against COVID-19

Coldplay (Chris Martin)

Everyone knows how bad has this situation hurt Italy, however, its people keep their spirit high and even sing from their balconies to cheer up each other. Same as Mirko and Valerio, two adorable Italian kids who went viral with a violin cover from Viva La Vida, by Coldplay.

Since 1996 Coldplay has enchanted the world with its unique style. I don’t know about you, but every time I listen to Coldplay I’m recharged with positive energy. This positive energy has been shared by Chris Martin early in March when all of this started. He used the hashtag #togetherathome to encourage people to take this seriously.

For half-hour and from the comfort of his home, Chris Martin pampered fans from all around the world with a special Instagram live performance. Thank you, Chris, for those great 30 minutes of your positiveness.

Leonardo Dicaprio

Oscar-winner Leonardo Dicaprio is well known for his altruistic work along with his acting talent. We are in no way surprised that in times like these, Dicaprio is moving fast and together with other celebrities to widely help, such as philanthropist Laurene Powell Jobs. According to Vogue magazine, “DiCaprio helped launch America’s Food Fund, a charity created to help low-income families, the elderly, those facing job losses, and children who rely on school meals. America’s Food Fund had raised $12 million to assist those and other suffering communities by April 3.”

Rihanna

Not only Rihanna is one of the most beautiful female singers out there, but she’s also an altruist and founder of The Clara Lionel Foundation, a non-profit organisation founded in 2012. The foundation will donate 5 million dollars to these organizations: Direct Relief, Feeding America, Partners In Health, the World Health Organisation’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund and International Rescue Committee. Beauty and kindness lady, what a wonderful mix.

Since 2005, Rihanna made a name by herself. Her hip-hop and r&b style with her powerful voice can give you goosebumps. She’s just that amazing artist everyone loves and admires. Thank you for existing Rihanna.

The Backstreet boys

Bryan, Nick, Kevin, AJ and Howie reunited by the end of March to help the fight against COVID-19. They joined the iHeartRadio’s Living Room Concert for America. Not did only the BSB performed for this cause, but also other pop stars like Billie Eilish, Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Camila Cabello, Demi Lovato and more. This event’s main purpose was to raise funds to help brave healthcare workers and researchers who are putting their life at risk during this pandemic. At the end of the event, the amount raised was that of 10 million dollars. An amazing act of kindness.

This boy band was a pioneer in its style and one of the biggest of its time. The Backstreet boys formerly began back in 1995. With a long career in the entertainment industry, these guys made the world fall in love with them. Our love for the BSB is “Larger than life”.

Miley Cyrus and MAC cosmetics

Placing aside the controversy following Miley Cyrus for the past years, we should admit this girl has a compassionate heart. Along with MAC cosmetics, Cyrus will donate 10 million to fight against COVID-19.

The wrecking ball singer became famous in 2003 with the show Hannah Montana. With more than her compelling voice, Miley is a great actress and as you can see a charitable person.

When artists help and donate we should think of that as an act of love and solidarity. It’s true once they are successful and rich they have every material need covered. Yet, that feeling of doing the right thing has way more value than an iconic brand purse or the last car model. Artists are human people just like you and me. The crisis we live in now should remind us all that no matter how much money you have, how successful or poor you are, this is no joke and we have to take this seriously.

Learn from these fortunate famous people. Those that share their time, are helping people to cope with loneliness and anxiety. The ones contributing to any cause to overcome this crisis are helping as well. Take the positive, good and also the bad parts to learn and reason on what you should do next. For entertainers, the next step would be to promote your work. You can sign up for free at Doodeo. The best platform for entertainers to showcase their talent. You can start today!

This list was just an example with only 5 artists, there are so many more out there helping and moving fast during this crisis. You can check out on Saturday, April 18 t, the #TogetherAtHome. There’s going to be an amazing concert organized by Global Citizen and the World Health Organization. With performances of top artists from all around the world.
