Totally true man. It’s like they follow the “game plan” that Musgrave and Del Rio draw up, and when the wheels fall off of that they give the keys to Derek and tell him to go win the game. haha.

I think as Derek improves even more he’ll use the play call as a polite suggestion, then basically make the play call at the line of scrimmage. I think he’s got the ability to develop an elite level of reading the defense presnap to end up in a situation that P. Manning was in, where he basically did the call at the line. Obviously, that was Manning’s strongest trait, so I don’t expect Derek to get AS GOOD as Manning was, but he should become really good at it.
