Day 3 of BootCamp. My experience so far.
It’s day 3 of Andela BootCamp and I have to say the experience for me only gets more interesting.
My days are almost now becoming in a way similar in terms of time and what I must accomplish. I have to wake up early each day and go through the tasks that I must accomplish and how much time I should spend on each.
Right after that, it is down to business. I get into the assignments and choose the best path to achieve the results.
However tough or hard the assignments and deadlines seem to be, I choose to take them as challenges that I must overcome. “Because when we least expect it, life sets us a challenge to test our courage and willingness to change; at such a moment, there is no point in pretending that nothing has happened or in saying that we are not yet ready. The challenge will not wait. Life does not look back and neither do I.”
So whichever huddle I meet at BootCamp, I see it as one of the points I will look back at two weeks from now and say to myself, “I went through that and I enjoyed every moment.”
But it’s not just about the challenges, there is also a lot of learning coupled with the experience of getting to interact and collaborate with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
One thing you can rest assured of at boot camp is that each day, you are going to learn something new and that you are going to improve a certain character about your personality.
“Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.”
I choose to stay involved in each day of the Andela BootCamp experience.
