It’s so time and effort intensive to work with big companies that my advise is almost “don’t bother. if someone is chasing you, Ok, but otherwise, your time is better of elsewhere.” All the time you put in understanding a big company’s byzantine processes and peculiarities can’t be leverage with the next big company.
Thanks for writing Patrick. Great anecdote about J.K. Rowling. It really demonstrates that having a brand name or some sort of connection is always helpful. In some ways accelerators seem to be like banks. They prefer to loan money to people who don’t need it.
