One fantastic use-case for blockchain offline is for property ownership. I live in New York City, and one huge problem we have here is deed fraud. Housing prices have been going up so much that there are a ton of cases every year where a thief steals ownership of a house, building, or property by filing a fraudulent deed. Right now, it is fairly easy to do this. I personally know one person who’s family home was stolen in this manner. She eventually got it back, but only after years of fighting, and ended up losing most of her family’s possessions in the process. Being able to verify deeds and titles on a blockchain is such a perfect use-case (IMHO).
