10 Things I Learned After Building Khaled Ipsum
Yesterday I launched Khaled Ipsum, a Lorem Ipsum placeholder text generator that uses DJ Khaled quotes. I built this project to learn some more javascript and to experiment with CSS flexbox.
After launch, it got featured on Product Hunt making it to the front page, and it was written about in New York Magazine, The Verge, The Source, and VICE. InVision added it as a secret feature to their Craft plugin for Sketch, and a fan turned it into an Android app.
Here are some important lessons I learned after launching this product:
Lorem Khaled Ipsum is a major key to success. Put it this way, it took me twenty five years to get these plants, twenty five years of blood sweat and tears, and I’m never giving up, I’m just getting started. It’s on you how you want to live your life. Everyone has a choice. I pick my choice, squeaky clean. Surround yourself with angels. You do know, you do know that they don’t want you to have lunch. I’m keeping it real with you, so what you going do is have lunch. We don’t see them, we will never see them.
A major key, never panic. Don’t panic, when it gets crazy and rough, don’t panic, stay calm.
