The Economy of Favor
Pure thought. Published without thinking.
I wrote the below without edits or hesitation. Some lines make sense and I value them dearly. Others do not and I thought them as well.
Take time to consume Pure Thought.
There is power in pleasantry and weakness in anger
And a great cost to cruelty in the economy of favor
Trust wisely, trust clearly — and if not broken by fault, trust wholly and sincerely
If by simple fault, forgive — for there is no greater act than absolution
Forgiveness endows the true favor of others, and favor is power in its purest form
Let us line our pockets with the world’s new currency
It is presently more powerful to be loved (admired and adored) — for love is now the conquest of fear: fear of loneliness, criticism, legacy and beyond. What we fear most is the absence of love — and those most in doubt are least to find it.
Conventions are only as society sees them — and so long as you are just, kind, and virtuous in your treatment of others, you hold an equal right to draft and amend our communal accords. We allow this right, because we as a society have faith — not in superstition, but a faith in communion! A fully realized faith in ourselves that exerts itself as the backbone of all worldly institutions.
The meek have not inherited the Earth. They have intentionally undone themselves by trading favor for privileged assimilation. To go out is to be social, to stay in is to be social, to live is to be social. Connection is our unified ambition. We’re all in the web, aimlessly wiggling toward the spider: Time
There is solace in struggle, and there is ALWAYS blind ambition– the search for something greater than the present, more exciting than now, and better than before.
The search for everything is ultimately an escape from nothing. This struggle breeds invention, so that movement, action, and ambition have a purpose: to manifest meaning.
We are catalysts for change and slaves to commitment — we are ignition!
