I love these stories! It’s so easy to visualize what you write, and I’m glad you met some kind teachers at Luxton. The line “WHAT A TOAD” is utterly fantastic and overly kind. I am not the best teacher out there, but one reason I became one was to protect students from the jerks (one actually landed in jail — I had the unfortunate experience of teaching across the hall from that bastard) we encountered along the way.
