There are so many extreme views out there on ChatGPT and AI.

I’ve been trying to bring balance to the GPT and LLM world for multiple years now, but especially since around Q3 2022.

People keep saying that GPT can't do human cognition or understanding and only regurgitates.

Yet it’s almost that the opposite is true.

I can barely get GPT to stumble on logically processing my prompt content (up to 25,000 words now in a single call).

Altman clarifies

I like that OpenAI’s CEO Sam Altman clarifies this himself.

He points out, yes, ChatGPT is incredible at gathering information from its vast store of human knowledge — and casting in any style you want mind you.

But it’s human-like cognition, that is its strong suite.

Far from being an AI system that doesn’t understand us, its human -like cognition is near flawless.
