What if we give up working hard
Adam Vrána

Dear Adamw

Hard work as we know it, is a field of crops the seeds of which has been sown by our forefathers in the industrial revolution. Consequently we strive for the perfect workers, family, housing, community, the American Dream….seeking the rewards set up by the CEO’s of multinationals. We dance to their tunes and be rewarded, we have had successfully brought home the bacon. Here, our measure of success is tainted, realising it only when we leave their precincts: it was then and only then did we actually realise according to our own hard work in improving productivity, we still have to succumb to the competition against productivity schemes of ever decreasing offshore labour costs and eventually outsourcing manufacturing plants overseas….then we are left with nothing but our mortgages.
