Finally….I know all that needs to be known!

It’s taken sometime, but I’m finally here. I’ve reached the pinnacle. I know all that needs to be known!

How have I come to this conclusion? Maybe because I’m realising, that I will never know all that there is to know and in that knowledge I know all. I will always be a student!

If I can somehow remember this maxim in all situations, then I’ll experience success. I may need to look for the success, but it will be there.

Having read more recently some of the stoic’s from centuries ago. They went through unimaginable sufferings. The emotions Seneca the Younger must of went through in mentoring and raising a corrupt Nero the roman emperor.

I think of the difficulties I face everyday, slowly, I’m working into my mindset to look for the learnings.

It can be difficult to know what to look for, and even more so; what areas to focus your energy to invoke change. I think of Marcus Aurelius when he wrote:

Waste no more time arguing what a good man should be. Be one.

This says to me, stop making things more complex, stop trying to find the justice in your actions. Do only that which is the right thing to do. What is the right thing to do? Do that which causes nor harm to others. If it does not add value it is of no value. If you are not uplifting the people around you, then you are tearing them down.

If you can not see what you need to learn from any situation, it’s time to pause and reflect. But by doing so, you may learn to be of more use to others, and ultimately yourself.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
