What’s it like to live in Japan as a foreigner?
Speaking as someone who lived there, I’d say it’s wonderful, as long as you accept that you will probably never be very integrated, no matter the level of your Japanese skills. I’ve lived in a lot of countries where integration is a challenge - Japan was probably the nicest place to remain an outsider.
