Fairy Tale Love

’Twas a day like no other,

Save the fabled days of yore,

When all the planets did align,

And the hero dared not ask for more.

He saved the maiden in distress,

With flaxen hair and golden dress.

He mounted on a fearsome spire

The dragon’s head once filled with fire.

He found the lost and needed treasure

And added gold just for good measure.

The sun shone brightly

But never blinding

And true love bloomed

Just for the finding. R
