A challenge here is interoperability (or lack thereof) between these proprietary voice systems. In many scenarios, a conference call or meeting is with people outside your organisation, so I’m not sure how a virtual assistant can schedule this as quickly as humans can. There’s a balance of convenience, vs. trying to ‘own’ the virtual assistant and productivity software space —there’s going to be some letting go in order to make some of these scenarios viable.
