Anthology — 1982 to 2024, my formative years in technology

A young woman I met at a tech meetup asked if I specialized in a language or stack. As much as I should expect it, this question always jams my brain. A flood of languages, chipsets, frameworks, techniques, and code pops into my head at once. I stammer a bit and say something like ‘just about anything’, at a loss for a tweet-sized response like —

“Everything since the punch card?”

Not very helpful.

My youngest son is pursuing a career in music; I imagine how the conversation would flow if the meetup were for musicians instead of technology-minded people.

What do you play? …Multiple instruments

What type of music? …Multiple genres

Do you have a favorite? …I love them all, love my craft

Thank goodness we don’t call these people ‘full-stack musicians’.

Have you published anything on YouTube or iTunes?

Eureka!

I’ve created and shared many works in my field; enough for a brief anthology of my still formative years in technology.

Note — this list has grown quite long now even though I’m still in my formative years in technology… The list below is in chronological order from oldest to most recent. If you are more interested in my most recent work feel free to scroll to the end of the page.
