Its funny how VCs actually refer to these as platforms at all. They know what platforms are because they invest in them all the time. I run a tech startup accelerator platform on www.dreamstake.net. This is a true platform where startups join, receive free support and meet investors. The real point about technology platforms is that they reduce the cost to serve. Simply grouping services on a website is not a platform. Good article anyway ;)
