Michael, I still have faith that journalists really do have integrity and they are trying to do the best job they can. The pressure to perform has never been greater and sometimes people take shortcuts. It’s tough when you’re in a newsroom watching all of your competitors use that picture on TV when you know they haven’t gotten permission to use it, like you’re trying to do.

Also, the ethical barometer for Millenials is different. They grew up with social media and sharing their lives, many getting music and free videos on line without paying for it. To many of them, it’s fair game. Post and sort it out later.
