This really made my emotions well up. A wonderful piece! Helps me reconcile some of my feelings towards my father. I was very lucky that we knew my fathers time was short and were able to go through “the rhythms of life” ,as another respondent so eloquently put it, with him at the end. I’m gonna go call my mom right now.
