Oh man, Richard. Thanks for writing this. I’m friends with dads of daughters, and I’ve heard this same fear from them. Life hasn’t gotten easier, but I’ve become a stronger woman. There are all kinds of ways a woman can learn to take care of herself. I’m sure you’ll teach your granddaughters one or two.
