Absolutely agree. Shockingly bad behavior for a medical professional — most docs and nurses I know have been around long enough to understand that you don’t interfere with cops when they’re in the process of securing a scene.

The right way to do it would be to approach one of the officers, announce your presence and offer your help, but there’s little opportunity to spin a hyperventilating, ‘Woe is me!’ social justice narrative in that, is there?
