According to this, Myles reportedly had a knife and was behaving aggressively towards officers (not outside the realm of possibility, since her family has already admitted to mental health issues):

I’m tempted to ask what harm there is in waiting until an investigation and trial before proclaiming the most extreme worst case, but everyone knows what the score is by now…
