Practically anyone else who handled classified material the way Hillary did would be convicted of an offense that could easily result in a prison term.

So saying she would be in jail is very well within the realm of possibility, especially given the actions to destroy materials after the subpoenas were issued (something no legitimate court EVER looks kindly upon).

And as far as the ‘These were only personal e-mails!’ retort, that’s little more than partisan spin — Hillary was 1) Found to have classified material on her server and 2) Demonstrated to have lied about that so taking her word for what she deleted strains credulity (At least with people who are actually interested in the law).
