In the 1960’s, a group of white leftists got together and thought that it was a great idea to destroy the black family.

That to me is the real take away. This litany is the core of the author’s premise:

• Black girls seem older than white girls of the same age.

• Black girls need to be supported less than white girls.

• Black girls know more about adult topics than white girls.

• Black girls need less protection than white girls.

• Black girls know more about sex than white girls.

And yet most of that litany applies primarily to girls raised in unstable, single-mother homes — it only seems like the reality for all black girls because +70% of them are growing up under such unhealthy circumstances.
