The left has really been quite cunning with how they’ve pushed income tax policy in the US for the past thirty years.

Right now we have a situation where the top 10% pays like 50% of the total revenue from income tax while the bottom 40% pays nothing at all. So, by necessity, any cut it going to disproportionately ‘benefit’ those at the top — simple math dictate it would be so — giving the left an automatic point to construct anti-tax cut demagoguery.

It really is quite clever how they’ve worked that (of course our economically illiterate, ideologically biased media deserve some of the blame here as well).
