To Kill a Mockingbird gets more hokey and maudlin every time I watch or read it (and, considering I worked public primary ed for a few years, I was exposed to it plenty). If you’re looking to explore America’s historic racial dynamic through a courtroom setting, Amistad is much better way to go.

Michael Mann’s The Insider really merits mention here, although it’s only partially a courtroom drama.

I also thought A Civil Action was worthwhile as well.
