Totally agree and, technically speaking, this is almost certainly incorrect:
Philando Castile did absolutely everything right. There was nothing he could have done that could possibly have made it less likely that he would be murdered.
Castile was under the influence of marijuana, which affects both attention span and motor control, making it quite reasonable to believe that he didn’t correctly comply with instructions and (absentmindedly perhaps) reached for his gun.
Also, the habit among the BLM partisans to label every police shooting of a minority as ‘murder’ is legally incorrect; at worst, Officer Yanez may have been guilty of Negligent Homicide, but no reasonable person believes he acted with malice.
Labeling these sorts of incidences as ‘murder’ is gratuitously inflammatory and spiteful. I actually consider it a form of anti-police hate speech.
