Yes, I remember the Dan Quayle/Murphy Brown thing quite well. That was the first signal just how transgressive the Hollywood left’s cultural agenda really was, how berserk they went over the quite commonsense suggestion that raising children in single-parent families is a flawed and unfortunate situation and nothing at all worthy of celebration.

Given that irrational reaction to such an obvious proposition, all of the culturally destructive and disgusting developments we’ve lived through recently — gay marriage, trans bathrooms, gender reassignment surgery for minors — seem a predictable extension of the overall anti-family, anti-traditional mores worldview.
