Yes, these people come off as complete hypocrites.

But really, maybe they’re even worse than hypocrites. They could be completely sincere about what they believe — maybe they’re so deeply invested in their transgressive Social Justice worldview that they’ll happily advance an ideology that’s openly hateful towards them, like Islam, so long as it destroys what they hate.

Think of it as a particularly perverse variation of ‘The enemy of my enemy is my friend’ — in this case, ‘The enemy (Islam) of my enemy (Traditional Christian/Western Culture) is my friend (even while he’s throwing me off a roof)’.

At any rate, Milo is the true defender of LGBT rights here — he at least is fully cognizant of what’s at stake.
