Introvert in a world designed for extroverts
Rikke Koblauch

Hi Rikke, Nice post. Being an introvert in business can be tiring some days. We’re expected to be upbeat and collaborative a lot of time — putting on the hat of team. Sometimes I just put my headphones on, to avoid conversation, which is not to say I don’t really love talking to colleagues and friends, but just to centre myself in the moment of what I am doing. I do envy extroverts and their ability to move through a room with confidence and the way they feel success through collaboration and boisterous, robust dialog. On the other-hand too, I love the idea that the power of introverts comes from within.
