Of the few things I have on this site, if it’s trite and maudlin, it gets a lot of attention. Original or informative, nada. At least that’s the case nowadays. I wrote this 5 part series on bicycling about a year ago, very informative with a dash of humor, which got a lot of reads and still gets a few. Other long forms since then, zilch. As to comments, if I’m in the mood for attention I stick my heart to my sleeve, let it drip, sit back, feel the love.

Difficult as it is to wade through the crap on Medium to get to something interesting, I do find it. It could be worse, that is, Facebook.
