One key point about designing healthcare solutions for a developing-country crowd is to really focus on the people’s lifestyle. Yes, education is important but it’s equally -or even more important- to make solutions interesting and adequate for people. What are their needs and desires? Would a low-income housewife be worried about her 30 minutes of exercise or about getting the most amount of food for her family? It’s also important to think about solutions for communities rather than individuals, specially in a culture such as ours that relies strongly in social bonds.
