We DON’T need a revolution in education

People love their status quo. Any change in status quo causes a distress. Radical changes in education system threat the status quo that people may often even claim they’re against, yet it’s still the status quo they feel familiar with, hence will be more likely to choose over a revolution…

On being jealous

I was hurt to see you responding on the French sweet girl’s very obvious advances, her cute little strawberry smile with charming accent, her tiny posture and great legs. …

Games Perception Plays

How funny, I can see the same exact thing having my back turned against it. I see what they see, not looking the same direction. So maybe seeing with your eyes shut isn’t all so overrated? Endlessly curious tricks of Reality makes me wonder if the blackness of a table is ever really the case. The sky is grey everywhere not because the Earth is round, but because we can’t escape to see it. Perception prisoners, we’ve long ago agreed to agree. Shall we give up this illusion that we settled into, and consider feebleness, ephemerality of reflections? Seems like it’s beautiful too.

Airports

Supposedly, the three most likely to come up with some brilliant ideas places and times are: the bath, the bed when you’re about to fall asleep, and the public transport. …

Happiness is the Ultimate Recipe

What would you do, if some new science announced that time isn’t in fact something that we know and are used to. It isn’t that at all — forget passing time, being on time, doing something in time, deadlines and future plans. What if the new science told you: you…

Astronaut

He didn’t seem to enjoy the day. His first day in the new school. He seemed small, shrunk under the weight of stepping into adolescence and out of childhood. After few hours in this dusty place with bad opinion, his eyes got red and I could see every little vein…

Teenage love

I can’t talk to you no more. You raised up three thick brick walls with heavy twirling air in between. Impossible to get through any of them even when you’re drunk. I don’t hear I can’t see any honesty. Only some veils of conventions and empty politeness, passive-aggressive pokes at best. Your dry words irritate my skin. Or perhaps I’m looking for candour for directness that has never been there. Maybe it’s me who’s changed and forgot already that our magic was never about straightforwardness always about the puzzle riddles and understatements.

Misbehaving teens suffer from boredom

Kids are just so bored. I’m being a teaching assistant in one of London’s secondary schools and it is just something, to be honest, dead boring, sitting there and listening to what the teacher says. If I was to sit still and only listen, I’d simply die. …

Always Question

Imagine you meet someone who genuinely bugs you. You can’t get over that he calls himself smart, because his flaws are too apparent to be overlooked. It bugs you, because you’re usually being rather humble, aware of your flaws, sometimes too much. In your trying to be a good person…

I ain’t playing diet game

If you’re this unfortunate fellow who once forgot of all the restrictions and just went ahead with chocolate desire, this fellow who missed the point of permitted amount of fat on your thighs while delving into trusting the perception tricks, this piece is for you. Also if you suffer from…
